Bhakti Marga meets Sangha Cafe (Om Chanting & Mantra singing)

February 3 @ 19:00 - 22:00

Bhakti Marga is a Hindu community of Paramahamsa Vishwananda, a God-reallized master. Our aim is to develop a love-relationship with God with tools such as music, dance, meditation and rituals.

For the weekend from the 3rd till 5th of February we will spend a weekend with various activities in Groningen and on Friday we will come to Sangha Cafe to do OM chanting and Mantra/Kirtan music afterwards with you!

The OM chanting is an ancient practice that helps us to transform our negativity into love which does not only benefit ourselves but mother earth as well. In fact, this technique is practiced in thousands of cities around the world on a weekly basis in order to heal this planet. Through participation, you will therefore contribute your part into this healing!

Kirtan and mantra singing is an ecstatic form of music in which we dive into the mystic power of the divine names and let us carry ourselves with this vibration to deeper parts of our consciousness. To participate, one does not need to be a talented musician. The only requirement is an openness to let go of the mind and to sing from the heart…

🔘 To participate, one does not need to be a talented musician
🔘 You are welcome to just come and listen, singing along is not obliged
🔘 There will be printed out papers with lyrics and chords
🔘 Donation Based
🔘 You are not obliged to stay for the whole session, you can leave early if you want!

Little message from Martie:

“Singing Kirtan with Bhakti Marga will be very uplifting, active and playful. At Bhakti Marga they like to really express gratitude and worship with happiness and playfulness while singing the songs and dancing to them”.

“Spiritual practises can be in many forms and it doesn’t always have to be silence sitting in a quite room, personally I experienced these other expressions of spirituality when I sang Kirtan in the Bhakti Marga Temple and it was a real eye opening experience.”
